Thats how DSPs work, I seem to recall its possible in a DSP to quite easily
generate frequencies well above the sample rate, aliasing...

 I'm working on a VOSIM synth, its hard work, but Im sure it'll be
 interesting, weather or not it'll become a commercial product, heaven only
 knows..
