I dont think that'd be a spiffy idea.
Ever noticed how the metal shelf over the hotplate you use to heat your ferric chloride
tends to, well, dissolve over time?  I didnt either until the 30lbs of crap on the shelf
went through it...

Yard sales.  Get some aquarium heaters.  Heck, they're cheap new.  While you're at it,
nab some old aquarium pumps and airstones and use them to bubble the etchant.  I use
a 2.5gallon aquarium to hold it all.
