What gear do you have that wants to see 12 and 15V? 5 and 10 are far more
typical. Most DIY circuits (and commercial products) are designed for 5V or
10V, so a 12V or 15V design requires custom engineering. (Somebody please
correct me if I'm wrong again. ;-)

Assuming that you still want the panner, could the panner and the S&H share
the same LFO (i.e. the rate)? This would be musically useful and it would
bring your total cost down a bit. It also makes more of a case for going
modular. I understand the appeal of bespoke effects units (easier to use,
physically smaller), but for similar cost you could create a more powerful,
modular effects rack in a 3U road case. One Frac Rack panel could be custom
made to house things like the Normal/Off/Invert switches.
