? I never noticed *any* noise with no notes on.
I'm really picky about noise, that's why I wrote about
artefacts during note on. They are still there and anoy
me to some extend.

Perhaps you have a specially bad machine. Perhaps there is something
wrong with the display stuff. Perhaps there are different board revisions
arround. Next time I fire it up I will listen hard if I'm wrong or not ...
