Analog filters? Definitely yes. They're of the CEM3328 variety.

Analog envelopes? I'm not 100% positive yet, but I think the envelopes were
created digitally. I don't think each voice has a VCA, I think that the
volume of the "DCO" was attenuated digitally.

I'm thinking you *might* be able to extract CV/Gate signals from the filter
circuits, and then generate your own envelopes for any circuitry you might
want to place downstream.

Then there is also that mysterious Mirage expander port on the back side of
the unit. (That's another thing that Ensoniq withheld all the details
about.) It's hard to say what sort of "intelligence" you might extract from
that connector, if only we had full documentation. I think that someone had
at least part of the port documented, unofficially of course. I'll see if I
have any details laying around here, concerning the port.
