Okay, maybe that didn't come out right. I think there are rock drummers who
are excellent, versatile musicians. Really! It happens occasionally. :-) Or
better yet, watch a drummer who can play a variety of styles. Watch anyone
who has played for Sting. I think whether you like his music or not, I think
you'd have to agree that he puts together sensational backup bands. (I also
happen to think he's the best lyricist of our time... but that's waaaaaaaay
OT here). :-)
