Well, perhaps not *quite* what you're after, but I built a DCO for my Jen
project, based around an Atmel ATmega8 microcontroller: MIDI In,
squarewave out.

I guess you just need OK1, IC1, and associated bits, and not the rest,
which does MIDI-CV and interfaces to the Jen keyboard PCB (you can ignore
LCL1 and LCL2 as well---I put them in as an experiment).
