Trouble is... L3 is not being represented by an integrator, that's still a
lag filter!

At least if my paper and pen exercise is correct.

Once you've got the pole of origo it is expensive to get it back, like
compensating it away with a corresponding zero and put in a new one in, so you
need to solve the new one to start with. Zeroes is much easier to fiddle around
with.
