Hang on a minute!
5,8 milisiemens, it is rarely that we see this unit in use. Often we see stuff
like 5,8 mmho, 5,8 m(ohm)^-1 etc.
... or did you intend to say 5,8 ms as in 5,8 miliseconds? Yeap, that must be
it, since you seem to be discussing time and frequency.
So, what am I trying to point out? You cant choose between capital and normal
letters as you feel like, they have different meenings. This is important for
both the units themselfs as well as the prefixes. For instance, a k means the
kilo prefix, where as K means Kelvin.
It is a specific point behind this. We have an agreed languague on how to
convey quantitative information like measures and the units they are made in.
By caring about the quality of how we convey this, we ensure that we minimize
missunderstandings.
