[sdiy] ot: is it true that Waldorf crashed?

And what is amazing is almost every company I have worked for has basically 
budgeted zip for the software associated with a project...they seem to 
think, time and again, that since there are no material costs, software 
must be free.  On every project I have worked on that needed software, 
software has probably ended up being about 75% of the budget.
