Almost.
Quite a number of parameters are only "read" when a note on arrives.
So no "real-time" modulation is possible.

I used this to add velocity to my DX9 (via midi not the key board).
Catch the note-on message, modify the operator output levels, let the note
on pass.
With running status all notes get the velocity of the first note-on
arriving.
Well you can't have it all.
