Slashdot today has a reference to a Hubble story in the National Review (a
political magazine):

Bottom line: There is *supposed* to be a superior, Moon-based scope in
around 10 years, and Hubble won't last that long anyway. So the story goes,
and I hope that's true. Therefore, this may not be as tragic as it seems. It
stinks, though.
