ooooOOOOOoooooohhh.... so THAT's what's wrong with this schematic.  hmm.

I've never built this, but I've heard for some time "The TWS schematic on
the web is incorrect" and I looked at all of them and said to myself - hey,
looks OK to me and was always curious about why people were saying that.
Never looked close enough.

This is good info - thanks for this.

Note also that the original ran off a +12v/0v supply.
