Hello,

I'm in a university Research class in order to prepare for my Senior year thesis, and I am to be preparing a research prospectus. My tentative topic is somewhere along the lines of using/applying mathematical constructs for music via electronics. (Some parallel research I've seen is entitled "Clouds, Pyramids, and Diamonds: Applying Schrodinger's Equation to Granular Synthesis and Compositional Structure" by Rajmil Fischman.) I'm not into DSP (yet) or Csound (yet). Anyway, does anyone have any information regarding this aspect of building synthesizers (including hardware-based granular synthesis, hardware/electronic representation of mathematical sets, structures (fractals?)? Thanks in advance.

Anthony
