[sdiy] Electronic Music Circuits books, VST programming?

Just to let you guys know,
my copying costs have gone way up since I started offering my
copy-center-generated copies of my books.
I'm going to have to raise prices on them soon (just spent $300 on more
copies).
Sales are down to one a month now or so anyway.

Which brings me to another somewhat-related subject....
Are there any good books on programming VST instruments/effects?  Kind of a
next generation version of my book would be interesting to see (but it won't
come from me :-)  )  Or is this rocket-science stuff?
