It was used in the Buchla 208. Since it's powered from GND and +15 it's
nice for interfacing with CMOS.
It's used in not just the wave multiplier, but almost all Serge modules.
As a flip-flop in the DSG, and as a comparator all over the place. One
advantage of using it as a comparator is that it only takes one resistor
to program the threshold. There must be something else. It's cheap?
