It's not nit-picking. If you don't understand the distinction and can't
hear it, that's fine. Don't assume that no one else can though.

No more dry than a real piano.
Reverb is the modified starch of recording - you can use it to fill out
anything, but it tastes of nothing.
A good acoustic piano simulation - and I know of at least one research
project that qualifies - doesn't need added reverb.
