wow. well put. I use sampled drums with my band... even if I have a real live
(well - almost) human being hitting the pads. Why ? Because they sound BETTER
than what most live drummers are able to put together on stage in an hour
(like they show up an hour early and tune them, hah ! They're lucky they have
skins
on them... :^)
The mix, the sound, is controllable... and the cost of ownership is much much
less.
I might add... if I had a Bosendorfer I would have to SELL the house :^P
