OK, this brings up something I'm seeing quite a bit that baffles me about
this list.  It's people reinventing the wheel over and over again.  In this
example, parametric and graphic EQ's are so inexpensive and readily
available these days why would one want to spend so much time and effort
building one and probably end up spending more money to boot?
