[sdiy] MG-1 transformer troubles... repair or replace?

Hello DIYers

Well, I screwed up. I was in my MG-1 again doing a couple of repairs, and
everything was good. I put it back together, hooked it back up, turned it
on and *nothing*.

So I opened it back up, and much to my annoyance discovered that one of the
terminals on the PS transformer had broken off.

The terminal seems to have a small circular protrustion on it, which seems
to fit into a round depression in the transformer. In that depression I can
see the *tiniest* little piece of wire... maybe 1/32", if that

Now... I am pretty sure that I could fix this. Not sure how just yet, but I
have a couple of ideas. My question is, *should* I try to fix this? or is
this one of those instances where I should just opt for a replacement part?
I've never done anything on a transformer before, so I'm afraid something
terrible will happen :) Any thoughts/advice?

Thanks!

D
