Happy new year all you nice synth and electronics gurus.

I am searching for a suitable capacitor to use as the integration cap in Ray
Wilsons VCO design. The diagram calls for a 330pF cap. I know this cap. should
be very temperature stable. I do not have any sources for polystyrene or Mica
caps. So since this cap is fairly small in value i thought that a multilayer
ceramic cap could be used. I have one (tiny little thing) marked 331 (i assume
this is the 330 pF i need) on one side and K1J on the other what does this mean
? would it be ok for the above mentioned task ?

Another one (probably multilayer ceramic NP0 type) has K2K on one side what is
that ?

Capacitors confuse me, i read Harry Bissel's excellent cap. faq. and that helped
a lot (i keep returning to that document all the time, thanks Harry), i also
read serveral capacitor code guides on different web pages, but i still find
capacitors confuing. My biggest problem is not understanding the different
types, but rather determining what type some cap. from my (large) box of
different caps is, any suggestions for further reading ?

Happy new year

Mikael
