[sdiy] Mackie software was should I go HD recording? and noisy Wurlitzers

Dear list,
from what I have read on another list Mackie have some software 
available for free .but only for a limited time.

but as I don't have one of the operating systems supported I don't know 
how good or bad it is.
I think you should use whatever equipment is approriate for the 
situation you are in.

BTW weren't there some mods to the amp stages of the Wurlitzer piano to 
make the output less noisy? it might have been replacing some of the 
carbon film resistors with newer metal film ones.
