[sdiy] Should I repair my Fostex, or should I go HD recording?

Hi Juergen!
I think USB2. I was pretty alarmed to have M-Audio emailing me to say that
I shouldn't ever hot-plug my Firewire 410, because doing so sometimes can
result in significant damage to the 410 or the host computer.
As far as I know, USB2 doesn't suffer from this gross flaw.
