SX3 sounds so nice though. There's the usual quotient of Stupid Things The
Designers Did but mostly it's fast, very usable, and 32-bit float and
proper dither throughout means it's one of the best sounding systems around.
I've always hated Cubase. When it was a solo Steinberg project it was
always a piece of buggy crap that promised more than it delivered. But now
that Pinnacle have taken over they've finally released a version that looks
and feels finished, with no serious loose ends.
I've been using it a lot over the last couple of weeks and it feels like a
completely different package.
Sonar, in comparison, is just horrible. Really, *really* ugly.
