well there is the new Gibson "digital Les Paul" if you are really interested...
Check out the patent for the new hex humbucking pickup that goes in it...
its maybe the first advance in hex pickup technology in thirty years...
They sense both the horizontal and vertical modes of vibration separately.
How well is anybody's guess... but used correctly you might have less
dropouts in a guitar synth application...
which will STILL not justify the priec tag of the new Les Paul... and I didn't
even CHECK the price tag. The magazine photo of the technohick was enough
to frighten ME away...
