And it's also much easier to learn than a full-fledged CAD program.

Can you guess what my latest project with Frontplattendesigner was?

Laying out the floor plan of my new studio!

After some miserable attempts to use a CAD program (even with
import of my architect's original autocad files!), I simply drew up the
whole thing in
FPD with 1:10 scale. Then I made a rectangle for each synth and rack and
moved it
around until I got my dream studio, electronic workbench, and now also sthe
PC,
all in one 25 m**2 room.

The Schaeffers will forgive me that _this_ one time I have used their
program without
having them milling the frontpanel! (;->)
