No, I think not. Synths are intended to create sounds with, or acoustic
vibrations, if you will. All the musical instruments I can think of are
"acoustic" in a sense, because they are all designed to produce acoustic
energy.

I think referring to instruments as "electronic" or "non-electronic" should
be good enough for most purposes.
