Living in a very cold dry area will do it, the cold precipitates all the
moisture
in the air & then when the air is warmed up in the house, relative humidity
drops to nothing at all & the sparks fly.
Fortunately for me, Melbourne Australia is never dry enough
(plus, I don't have any heating in the house, apart from computers).
