Many years back (in 1994 to be precise) I made a M1000 editor for the PC.
I don't have the original code any more (I just have some buggy
intermediate code, I think). The program still runs fine, I think.

It never seemed to work very well with the Matrix6 based on feedback I got
from users. I never tried it myself, since I never had a M6 to play with.
I think the problem was with the NRPN parameters. Some of these are
different on the M1000 than the M6.
