[sdiy] LM13600 substitute for diode ladder

Hi all,

I've scratch built VCF6c, 4 pole diode ladder from EFM this week. It 
use a LM13600.

My dealer gave me LM13700 as substitute, but looking at Yves Usson, 
website I noticed that for a similar VCF, he highly recommands LM13600 
rather than 13700.

My dealer have NE5517 in stock, does it could be a better subtitute 
than LM13700 ?

it seems that a 2N3906, is drawn as a 2N3904 in the schematics VCF6c, 
anybody saw that ?
