The process used for these chips is no longer available (by that, I mean the 
actual silicon foundry rules). Therefore, a full redesign is required (including 
ESD protection on the SSM chips, as that was their downfall).

I doubt seriously you could even break even. Besides, I *have* over 2300 3340s 
:) And about 600 3396s and around 250 3320s.
