[sdiy] interesting digital circuits

You can gradually zero-out some lower bits to make the precision variable,
or reroute some data pins to make a wave folder.

You can also make a digital bucket brigade circuit using enormous shift
registers and several DACs ;-)

Subject: [sdiy] interesting digital circuits

Here's a question that doesn't seem to get a lot of attention: does anyone
have any interesting digital circuit designs for processing audio? I'm
looking at using an 8-bit ADC that put all 8-bits out in parallel, and a
corresponding 8-bit parallel input DAC. I'd be very interested in hearing
if anyone has any neat ideas that would fit into this scheme.
