You're right,  I probably don't.

I wouldn't think of using any of those mostly because of cost.  I *may* use 
DIN connectors,  but only because I have so many of them as salvage,  in 
various pin configurations.

Not a bad idea,  except for cutting those odd-shaped holes for them,  which 
may become easier if I ever get going with a milling machine like I want to.

What's MOTM?  And why should I worry about Blacet?
