Yeah. Thats the one I was looking at from Tyco/AMP, but its expensive.
Contacts are 50cents each and looking at $4-$7 per jack/connector. Which
puts running DC power to a box at $22+wire. Adds up real quick. You're
talking to someone so cheap here that I dont buy pre-made 1/4" cables, I buy
a roll of beldin mic cord and a box of switchcraft connectors, make up
cables at an average cost of $3ea for a 10foot cable thats better then
standard off the shelf Guitarcenter crap.
I think what I've decided is if I can score a greenlee punch this weekend to
make the hole for 10pin Cinch-Jones ( looks like 8pin is discontinued ) , I'll
go with that. If a greenlee is too expensive or not available I'll go with
the Tyco connectors if I can come up with an initial surplus batch on my hunt
this weekend otherwise I'll go with the C7. That'll give me +-12 +-15 +5 Gnd
and a spare.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
