I sure do second that - this thread made me pull out my LPG again. I donned
my turtleneck and played Morton Subotnick all weekend. I've been slowly
accumulating the 266 SOU section by section, and this weekend the LPG played
with the S&H section, which itself is a real gas to play with - two
alternating triggers, two alternating outputs, and a single alternating
output to boot. I also found that Ken Stone's wave multiplier is a nice
match for it - I guess that would hearken a bit to the nonlinear waveshaping
that Buchla emphasized with the Music Easel.

Incidentally, on my 291, I put in a signal mixer on the front end, with a
gain of 0.5 and attenuation pots. Thing is, I can still get a full level
output out of that, IE, there's a bit of gain in mine for the most part.
There is no discernible distortion. However. a Vactrol based kazoo would be
an interesting project =-D.

Cheers,
Scott
