hmmm Rheostat is more like it.  I had the MPC controller, which I need
for my rewound
motors.  It was TEN OHMS, wirewound.   Even had heatsink ribs on the
plunger.

Now imagine if Power Mosfets had existed THEN...   (too bad so sad...)
