Kid Baltan is Nat Lab Di(c)k, spelled backwards, in which Nat Lab stands
for 'Natuurkundig Laboratorium' (Physics Laboratorium) of Phillips. Dick
was just an employee from Phillips and during these days it was not done
Phillips staff was being named at artistic outputs, so he couldn't use
his own name. Varèse's assistant wasn't named either.
Loop machines were already in use at the WDR in Cologne.
