I use daisy chained twisted power lines to my modules. Star driven from close to
the power supply. Each power cable feeds no more than six small modules.
The power supply regulator has a very small cap on it's output. All the modules
have power supply filter caps at the power input. Each module adds 10 - 47 uf to
the total capacitance hanging off the regulator.
This reduces crosstalk between the modules. The only module that needed
additional filtering before attaching to the power system was the noise module.
The biggest problem is ensuring that the power transformer can handle the
initial inrush current. At one point before I upgrade the power supply, I had to
disconnect one bank of modules until the other two banks of modules charged up.
I fixed that problem by using a transformer with a higher current rating.
