Hi I found this out and about;
http://www-timc.imag.fr/Yves.Usson/personnel/SDIY/images/VCF-US1.pdf
What kind of modification would this circuit need to run on less voltage? Is
it even possible seeing as it's based on transistors?
I actually put it together, and am trying to run it on +-5v (obviously I
think this is my problem). I get a clean output, but it really doesn't seem
to be filtering anything. The reso pot makes some subtle change in the
sound, but the CV pot seems to do nothing at all, and the LP BP and HP
settings all sound the same. Do you think supply is my problem, and if so
how low of a voltage could I provide this, and still have it work?
I know most suggested other fitlers like OTA based ones, but in this project
I really hoped to go mostly discrete (aesthetic), so if anyone has
suggestions on making this one work right (preferably someone who's built
it), then I'd be very happy.
Thanks,
Pat
