Might sound like a VCF being modulated by a square wave. As you say, test it
and see (or hear, as it were).

Now that I mention VCFs, it occurs to me that it would be easier to use a
bandpass VCF instead of a wah-wah. (Forget that if the goal is to have the
sound of a specific wah, though.)

Wacky idea: Use a servo (like for a radio-controlled model) to turn the wah
pot. A servo would be faster than anyone's foot action, I think.
