Hi Ruud,
Yes, the mod is the box on the left with cables passing through the side of the case in a hidden way.
The unlabelled knobs(!) are octave switch, tune and Sine amount on the top and the bottom row is 4 octaves squarewave that can be mixed in varying amounts.
By appropriate adjustment of the sub-octave squares you can generate a stair case waveform.
This VCO is based on an ICL 8038 Precision Waveform Generator and the sub octaves is a CMOS divider chip running at 15V.
It drifts nicely out of tune and the ranging isn't particularly linear but I don't care.
It's possible to tune the extra osc up a fifth and play three note chords using one note - sort of.
This CS10 can be heard on the Jam we did as the 4 note sequence.

hey chris,
what's modded about the cs10? is that the breakout box on the side?
