[sdiy] Waveshaper update

I have a lowbrow guitar stompbox fuzz circuit that does something
similar. It's based on a 7555 IC. The circuit basically a amplifies a
audio signal driving pin 4 of the 7555, which is set up as a
oscillator. Sweeping the freq of the oscillator has a similar effect,
kinda like "resonance" in a rectangle wave. I use a vactrol to put the
sweep under env control. At low frequency settings, you get a neat
suboctave sound (at least with the kind of input it's fed). As the freq
of the 7555 is raised, the positive portion of the rectangle wave
begins to form multiple pulses, as the 7555 is enabled by the input
freq on pin 4 is the "fundamental" and the oscillator freq is the
"resonant freq".

Pretty simple circuit, even for a 9V powered stompbox. I'm sure it'd be
easy to adapt this to synth use, may end up being simpler, given synth
levels.
