comcast loves to leave big lengths of cable sitting by the side of the
road... walking home almost every day from school this last year, i managed
to pick up at least fifteen feet of cabling and other assorted wire, two
HUGE [1000ft+ ?] rolls of yellow 4" gas line warning tape, two metal
sawhorse type construction signs/obstacles which sat abandoned at a corner
for over three months [they never would have picked them up either, they had
finished working the spot weeks before they left them there], and not to
mention a $40 telephone line tester [with new Duracell 9v battery!]. some of
the engineers they send out leave a lot of junk behind. i don't like finding
screws on the ground under pole boxes the day after they were worked on...
scary.

some friends of mine have a running game where they see who can fit the
most street cones [or even orange flashing barrels] into a car... over the
course of a year they managed to steal something like eighty street cones
and a dozen barrels... i guess this is for a good cause though - our senior
prank. so i guess that the town will get them all back in due time.

hmm... back to Synth-DiWire
