[sdiy] More Theremin - WHY??

Early in the thread someone pointed out this chip... it is intended for
occupance sensing (is someone sitting in a car seat).   The opinions
I've
seen say its not sensitive enough for theremin.

The "digital theremin" seems to be quite sensitive, but also very prone
to
RFI.   I need to see wass-up with that.   In the circuit proposed in the

ThereminVision site... I don't think the noise would really hurt much.

I want to do a multi-axis theremin to allow simultaneous control of
volume and timbre
