[sdiy] pcb layout help

Well my guess is that point 2 is the audio output, which should connect to
the top of the volume control. The bottom of the volume pot and the 9-V
negative pole connects to 4,5,6. The output will come from the middle
terminal of the volume control.

hey guys
i am looking at this pcb layout

and still being a beginner 
i have a few questions

where does the 9V ground connect to?
where does the volume connect?
i see the output ground but where does the other output part connect to?

any ideas?
