aptly filed under 'sports and recreation' at citysearch - ! quinn's is the
only electronics surplus vendor i know in the bay area. an institution unto
itself, you will find that the number of things they have that you need
exceeds the number of things you thought were available for needing in the
first place.
they have many spools of wire.
for new electronics, there is a place called 'electronics plus' in marin
which is said to be well-stocked.
for those who live far away or refuse to leave the house, here is a good
online source for wire (especially teflon-coated, nice audio wire) and many
