We built so few of the 2500's my memory of them is nearly non existent.
The keyboard module for the 2500 does not stick out in my mind at all. The
only reason for that must be that it is identical to the 2600's early
keyboard.
In fact the only memory of the 2500 keyboard I have is repairing the unit
that came back from the movie "close encounters". They sawed up the wood of
the keyboard and stuck bits of mirror on what was left.

Because you have 2 identical circuits, you can just compare readings from
one side to the other.
I loved the reverse color keys of the 2500 so much I raided the spare parts
bin for a set to outfit my Omni!
