i can also scan the pcb's of what i did if that would help as well

hey guys
i am a beginner at building pedals
although i have built a fatman synth and it worked fine
but i am having some trouble with the pedals
i have built two
and when they are hooked up
they lose volume
they get about 20-30% of their original volume
and second
the effect of the pedal doesnt work
so all i get out of the pedal is less volume then i had when it wasnt hooked 
up

any troubleshooting ideas you guys have would be greatly appreciated
