Hi all, I want to build an "adjustable passive headphones attenuator", in other words, a pot (between amp and headphones) to control the volume. Which is preferable here, a true potentiometer or a variable resistor in series with the headphones? And which pot value? I don't need the volume control go down to zero. Ingo
