In line with the Molly Hatchet no synth characteristic, Elmer Bernstein "To
kill a mockingbird". Of note we've lost Goldsmith and Bernstein this
summer.

Subject: Re: [sdiy] Way OT - Today's listening choice
Everyone seems to be posting Fluffy Electronic music as their "what'm I
listen'n to"
Well, I'm listing to Molly Hatchet Flirtin' With Disaster. No synths,
hell I dont think they even used a piano or Rhodes. Just whiskey and
geetarz.
While I have a fairly large collection of various bits of electronica (
about 10k CDs ) I do tend to purge occasionally, which is why tonight I'm
heading into the city for Polkacide... just a reminder to everyone that
pure sinewaves are boring and you should wander outside the house once in a
while. :-)
